Home Remedies for Glowing Skin
Every woman desire picture perfect glowing skin. Whether you are a student, homemaker, or a working professional, it is very important to have good skin.
Women’s skin is fragile and sensitive, so exposing it to harmful chemicals is always a huge risk to take. There are many things which affect our skin such as stressful lifestyle, hectic work schedule, and inadequate sleep, lack of nutrition, pollution, harmful UV rays, excessive smoking, and drinking alcohol. All these factors make your skin dull and dry. For a beautiful skin, some of the following home-made remedies would imply good results.
Turmeric contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It eliminates the harmful free radicals that are damaging the skin. Mix small amount of turmeric in gram flour and add some water to make a thick paste. Apply it on your face and keep for 15 min. then wash it off and pat dry your face.
Honey whether taken internally or externally is excellent for the skin. For dry skin take one teaspoon honey and massage it daily on your skin. Leave it for about 10 minutes and then wash off.
Not only it softens and nourishes your skin but also makes it sensuous and helps in de-tanning. Wipe your skin with full fat milk twice a day or just splash a small bowlful of cold milk on your skin and pat dry.
Mash an avocado and apply it onto a clean skin, slowly massaging. Leave it on for minimum 15 min. before you wash off with milk and then water.
A common man’s moisturizer and nourisher, never underestimate this fruit. Mash a ripe banana and massage the skin with the pulp.
6. Aloe Vera
It is an excellent rejuvenator for undernourished skin. Take fresh aloe vera gel and massage it gently on your face. Keep it there for 15 min. and then wash it off with cold water and pat dry.
This is something recommended by our mothers for naturally glowing beautiful skin. Take 2 teaspoon of gram flour; mix a little amount of turmeric in it. Add few drops of lemon juice and rose water and make a thick paste by adding milk in it. Apply this paste on your face in ample amount and let it dry. When it dries completely, rub it off from your skin and pat dry your face. This will remove dead skin cells and nourish your skin giving it a beautiful texture.
8. Cod liver oil
Cod liver oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and D, EPA and DHA. These nourish the skin, repair damaged cells, and give the face a radiant glow. Prick open the liver oil capsule and apply the oil on your face. Massage it for few min. and then leave it for about 10 min. and then rinse the face with water. You can use a mild cleanser.
Beautiful skin is every woman’s dream and it is easy to achieve if you are compassionate towards maintaining it. Above remedies can give you good results if you continue doing them as a routine.
