Coconut and lemon massage
Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which helps to fight dandruff and provides you a clean scalp. Coconut oil nourishes your hair, make your hair shiny and silky. Coconut oil and lemon also help in hair growth.
Heat coconut oil and lemon juice in equal quantity.
Massage your scalp gently and thoroughly with the mixture.
Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with shampoo.
Baking soda is also useful in getting rid of dandruff and promotes hair growth. Baking soda has antibacterial properties.
On your wet hair rub a spoonful of baking soda on your scalp.
Leave it for one minute and wash it off.
Neem has antibacterial properties and its best to make you get rid of dandruff.
Grind neem leaves and make a paste of it.
Apply it on your scalp and leave it to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Wash it off with water.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar helps you in getting rid of dandruff very easily. It clarifies your hair and helps you to clean clogged pores and hair follicles.
Mix apple cider vinegar and water in parts and add 15-20 drops of tea tree oil in it.
Apply it on your scalp and massage it into your scalp.
You can use this method two or three times a week.
Olive oil is very effective in reducing dandruff, it is also a natural moisturizer.
Slightly warm olive oil and massage it on your scalp and then wrap your hair in a warm towel.
Leave it for two hrs or overnight and then shampoo as usual.
For best results repeat it two or three times a week.
Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is rich in antifungal properties and it also helps you to get rid of dandruff and leaves you with a long, silky and shiny hair.
Add few drops of tea tree oil to your regular shampoo and wash your hair as usual.
Add few drops of tea tree oil to any other oil like coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, or amla oil.
Apply it on your hair and leave it on your hair for two hours or overnight and wash it off as usual.
You can use this method twice a week.
Fenugreek seeds have anti-fungal properties that control dandruff and promotes hair growth.
Soak 2-3 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in water overnight and grind them into a fine paste.
To this paste add yogurt.
Apply this paste all over your scalp and leave it for few hours.
Shampoo as usual.
Repeat it twice a week.
